We create a Cystic Fibrosis awareness comic book and donate the proceeds from the sale of the comic to CF families and research.
This back-to-school season, do more than simply prepare for a new school year—help those in need.
In 2020, you might be wondering if being happy is something you could admit to—but even during challenging times, there are ways to boost your mood and try to celebrate the good things in life.
When it comes to living an altruistic life that can help make a difference for others, one of the most valuable things you can give your community is the gift of volunteering.
“I’m BrazFraz and I have cystic fibrosis. I was asked why, with cystic fibrosis, I take the chance working alongside the Ballistic Boyz? Well, when I breathe it’s like plugging my nose and breathing through a straw. I juggle work, family and friends between hours of breathing treatments. I deal with hospital stays and medicine…lots and lots of medicine. I have coughing fits throughout the day and night which lead to intermittent sleep. I have to fight through the bad days and enjoy the good ones. Cystic Fibrosis is also known as the Invisible Disease. Looking at me, one would never know I have a health problem, which means I also deal with people that don’t understand my disease or my health issues. With all of that on my plate, fighting crime and taking on super villains is a nice break for me.” – BrazFraz, aka Bridget Ann Maxwell
