We create a Cystic Fibrosis awareness comic book and donate the proceeds from the sale of the comic to CF families and research.
As the weather outside takes a downward dive, there are plenty of ways to lift spirits this holiday season. It’s time to spread warm wishes and cheer.
For nonprofit organizations around the world, year-end giving is a major boost to help reach giving goals.
While we can’t control what happens in 2020, we can all take steps toward remaining positive even on the most challenging days.
“I’m BrazFraz and I have cystic fibrosis. I was asked why, with cystic fibrosis, I take the chance working alongside the Ballistic Boyz? Well, when I breathe it’s like plugging my nose and breathing through a straw. I juggle work, family and friends between hours of breathing treatments. I deal with hospital stays and medicine…lots and lots of medicine. I have coughing fits throughout the day and night which lead to intermittent sleep. I have to fight through the bad days and enjoy the good ones. Cystic Fibrosis is also known as the Invisible Disease. Looking at me, one would never know I have a health problem, which means I also deal with people that don’t understand my disease or my health issues. With all of that on my plate, fighting crime and taking on super villains is a nice break for me.” – BrazFraz, aka Bridget Ann Maxwell
