How To Help

Donate to our strawfie challenge

Hi and thanks for considering a donation to EchoVerse Comics to help those with Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Dorothy Anderson’s research, back in 1938, provided the first proper description of the disorder in medical literature.  Eleven years later her exhaustive efforts led to her discovery of the cause of the disease.

Since then great strides have been made in CF treatments both in quality of life and life expectancy, and more tomorrows are being added to people that have been diagnosed with CF than ever before.  That is a great and wonderful thing. The one thing that is missing, however, is a cure for the genetic, progressive, and deadly disease.

Your donation will go towards the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides walk, which works to find a cure for CF. It will also go to items such as medical equipment, medicine not covered by insurance, items to help make life a little easier for a CF patient, and additional medical research that will one day eradicate Cystic Fibrosis from the face of the earth. Yep, that was a little dramatic, but we need something dramatic to happen for a cure to be found.

Thanks for dropping by and, if you plan on donating, we appreciate your caring, concern, and generosity...and we definitely won’t mind if you check that recurring box down below to make a recurring donation.

Thank you and have a great day!
